Originally published in 2011 during her show at Soho Photo Gallery, is timely because an exhibition of her earliest work will open February 25, 2016 at the Steven Kasher Gallery in Chelsea.) It didn’t seem right. Why would a New York City teacher with benefits and a pension leave a full-time post right before Christmas?
