  • PWP community discussions and messaging has moved to Groups.io!

  • Members Only Area on the PWP website. Members have access to a "Members Only" area on the PWP website. This area is where members can upload their Member Directory image, as well as access special Vendor Discounts for PWP members, Special Interest Groups announcements, and many other Useful Links.
  • Listing on the PWP website with your image.Images for the website slide show and the membership directory are accepted throughout the year through the Members Area, Upload Image link. Questions should be addressed to the webchair. Please note that your listing will automatically link to your personal website and will include up to three of your specialties if you provided this information on the application form. To see your information click on Membership Directory. To make corrections to the information in your listing, emailmembership.
  • Free admission to monthly meetings. Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of evey month, with infrequent exception, at Metropolitan Opera Guild, 70 Lincoln Center Plaza (Broadway at 65th Street), New York, NY 10023. Please check the calendar before a a meeting for details or changes.
  • Opportunity to show your slides as part of our monthly meeting "Curtain Raiser". Contact the programs chair for more information.
  • Participation in PWP exhibits.You will receive information on exhibits via e-groups under the subject "PWP Calls for Entry," as shows are organized. The Call will list specifics such as theme, size and other requirements. Calls for Entry will also be posted on the Calls for Entry page. If you have questions regarding exhibits please email the exhibits chair
  • Discounts for professional workshops. You will receive an egroups email for a specific workshop from our Education Chair. Information also will be posted at on the Workshops page.
  • Entry to membership-sponsored programs. These include member-to-member classes, open studio tours and field trips. You will receive an egroups email announcing these events and the dates will be posted on the Calendar page. We also support special interest groups i.e. a digital group, and salons where members critique work. Click on Special Interest Groups for details on how to participate.
  • Fiscal sponsor for grant money. Because PWP is a non- profit organization, members can use us to gain access to funds that might not normally be available to individuals. For more information send an email to the development chair.
  • Vendor Discounts. Go to Member Discounts for more information on both local and national discounts.
  • Kudos. "Kudos" is an official listing of members' outside participation in photographic exhibits, or other activities. To access the list and find out how to submit your information, go to Kudos page.
  • Networking. PWP provides many opportunities to network with others in the photography community. Begin by attending monthly meetings, joining special interest groups, and volunteering to share your skills with other members.   • Voting Privileges. Each member can exercise her right to nominate and vote for the board of directors at the Annual June Membership Meetings. If you wish to receive a copy of the by-laws contact the Secretary.
