Visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Photograph Conservation Department
May 5, 2016 10:00am-12:00pm
Metropolitan Museum of Art
100 Fifth Avenue
New York, NY

Ever wonder what efforts the Metropolitan Museum of Art makes in the preservation of its photography collection?  Here is your chance to find out.  Nora Kennedy, Conservator in Charge of the Photograph Conservation Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will spend two hours with a small group of our members to chat about the Met's conservation effots.  In the process, she will draw upon photos from the Met's collection from throughout the medium's history, sharing her expertise and answering our questions.  We are excited to bring back this event that has been so popular with our members in the past.

WHEN: Thursday, May 5th, 2016.  10am - 12noon

LIMIT: 20 members

FEE: $25, PWP members

LOCATION: Group will meet at the Met, further details closer to the event

RSVP: to me, Michele Dragonetti, at micheledragonetti1@gmail.com to hold reservations
