A great chance for new members and guests to meet and chat with PWP Board members before the lecture.

6:30: Lecture by Lucille Fornasieri-Gold

Lucille Fornasieri-Gold is a legendary Brooklyn photographer who has been shooting black & white images of the borough's people and neighborhoods (as well as other parts of New York) since the mid-1960's. Some of her iconic images were included in a PBS show on Brooklyn photography, and in June of 2014 she will have a show in the newly refurbished gallery at the Brooklyn Historical Society.

Diane Smook is a PWP member who has done work for The Art Creation Foundation for Children in Jacmel, Haiti. She has held two workshops there, and photographed for their website.

The lecture is free for PWP members, $10 for non-members (pay at the door). It is open to the public, and guests are welcome. It will take place on Wednesday, February 5th at 6:30 pm, at the Metropolitan Opera Guild. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for new members, members and guests to meet PWP board members and get acquainted before the lecture. Contact info@pwponline.org for more information.
