Digital pioneer and teacher, Dan Burkholder is known for looking beyond the photographic horizon to see, explore, teach and exhibit the next great thing in imaging. In this January 8th presentation sponsored by Professional Women Photographers, he will reveal his image capture and photo editing techniques to control color, tonality and detail in his mobile images. Learn how easy it is to use your iPhone, iPad or Android device to energize your image making while taking the weight off your shoulders. His book, IPhone Artistry, is the universe’s most comprehensive and fun how-to book for iPhone photographers. Dan has taught at universities and the International Center of Photography. His platinum/palladium and inkjet prints are included in private and public collections internationally. Burkholder's The Color of Loss, the first coffee-table book shot entirely using HDR, intimately documents the flooded interiors of post-Katrina New Orleans.

The lecture is free for PWP members, $10 for non-members (pay at the door). It is open to the public, and guests are welcome. It will take place on Wednesday, January 8th at 6:30 pm, at the Metropolitan Opera Guild.
