Comments and Conversations - Fall opening gallery tour.
Join us on this specially designed 3 hour gallery tour in the Lower East Side.
Currently over 100 galleries (some moving over from busy Chelsea) are found in the Lower East Side art scene (along with the new ICP museum location on Bowery).
Led by Claudia Sohrens*, we will have comments and conversations, sometimes joined by a gallery representative, about the images and current trends. Ten galleries will be visited to show the diversity of the new season's shows.
Note, this is not a formal structured workshop or seminar but rather a format to spark thinking for new creative ideas and encourage dialogue.
This is limited to 12 people due to the size of many galleries. At the end of the formal tour some may want to visit other galleries and continue the conversation. We’ll find a lunch place near the meeting place if any want to gather around 1 PM before the tour starts at 2:00 PM.
Fee required prior to event
Tour schedule and details forwarded on receipt of payment.
