Event Recap: Structure in the CIty

A good time was had by all at the PWP Structure in the City opening reception at the National Arts Club! Seventy photographers were showcased in over 80 photographs depicting exterior architecture in urban environments. The Exhibition Committee received lavish praise. In fact, many people added that it was our best show ever!

Professional Women Photographers (PWP) presents: Structure in the City.

Structure in the City runs from May 16 to May 30, with an opening reception on Tuesday, May 17 from 6-8 P.M. The National Arts Club is located at 15 Gramercy Park South.

This juried exhibit celebrates individual feats of architecture and engineering. Chosen photographs portray exclusively the exterior of an individual structure, be it a townhouse, skyscraper, house of worship, bridge or other type of building that is made for urban habitation or transportation. Images show details or the full façade and may represent designs of the current millennium or of a distant age. This exhibition was juried by Dr. Stanley Burns, Chairperson of the Photography Department of the National Arts Club.

PWP is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of women photographers. Through exhibitions, workshops, and network opportunities, PWP creates a dynamic environment that encourages individual growth and promotes public interest in photography.
