6:30: Meeting Begins with Melissa Fleming
Melissa Fleming is a visual artist with a particular interest in the transient and often unseen aspects of the natural world and the interplay of art and science. Her work has been exhibited and collected internationally. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Parsons The New School of Design and earned a science-based Master Naturalist Certificate from Cornell University. She is also the founder of The Weather Gamut, a blog about weather and climate change.
The lecture is free for PWP members, $10 for non-members (pay at the door). It is open to the public, and guests are welcome. It will take place on Wednesday, April 1st at 6:30 pm, at the Metropolitan Opera Guild. Contact info@pwponline.org for more information.
