Alice Sachs Zimet
“Making Work – Now What? Getting Out into the Marketplace”

We are delighted to have Alice Sachs Zimet, well known photography collector, mentor and coach to both photographers and collectors as our speaker for Wednesday, February 4.

For PWP, Alice will focus on how to get your work out, giving us valuable insights into how the market works, and what we, as photographers, need to do to get our work recognized. After the presentation, there will be a Q+A.

Alice is the Founder and President of Arts + Business Partners, LLC, and is a regular lecturer at ICP, Camera Club of New York and School of Visual Arts, in addition to doing private classes and 1-to-one consulting. She is the Chair, Photography Collections Committee, Harvard Art Museums, Board Member of the Magnum Foundation, Member of ICP’s Acquisitions Committee and Committee Member of Friends Without a Border, an annual photo auction benefitting the Angkor Hospital for Children in Cambodia.

Alice was one of the 30 women interviewed for PWP’s 30 By 30 Women's History Month blog series, in which she spoke with Catherine Kirkpatrick about Lisette Model, her favorite woman photographer, as well some of the other women photographers represented in her 250-image collection of 20th Century masters to the present. Alice has also given a 4-session Photography Collecting Bootcamp for PWP.
