Event Recap: Museum Walk: The Photographer’s Eye Explores The Metropolitan Museum of Art

IMPORTANT: Please note that while there is no fee to sign up for the walk, you will be responsible for the fee to enter the museum.

Join a group of 8 PWP members in a unique exploration of some treasures of the world art at the Metropolitan Museum.

During this walk, using their cameras photopraphers will make statements on what they discover about the art and their interactions with art in the museum.

This excursion has been planned and will be lead by PWP member, Joan Cavanaugh. Joan worked on the administrative staff of the museum for 20+ years and will share tips and tell stories to help you begin this unique individual photographic exploration.    

As you conclude your individual journey, you will meet Joan and the rest of the group in the Museum cafeteria to share your photos and thoughts about your photographic adventure into the world of art.

Additional Info:

  • You are responsible for museum entrance fee. 
  • No tripods are allowed in the museum.
  • There will be no restrictions on photos taken anywhere in the museum 
  • When you sign up for the walk, you will receive a confirmation email from Joan within 24 hrs.
