- 1975 International Year of Women. Dannielle Hayes was a member of International Festival of Women Artists, which sponsored the historic exhibition “Breadth of Vision: Portfolios of Women Photographers.” The exhibit contained 400 images by 125 women photographers on two floors at Fashion Institute of Technology Dannielle brought the photographers together at the newly formed ICP and was elected Photography Chairwoman for publicity and events. She began to organize other exhibits and held meetings at her home and occasionally at Suzanne Szasz’s studio
- 1976 Dannielle was successful in organizing a one day slide show, in the back of a truck, at Rockefeller Center. These images led to the book “Women Photograph Men,” published by William Morrow in 1977
- 1978 The organization was named PWP

News: Organized and oversaw the development of a new website, with Nelly Yusupova as the programmer/developer. New features included: a homepage “Feature Box” where the most important PWP events could be highlighted with images, the ability for board members to easily post and update events and pages without the need for a programmer, the ability to send various reminders and renewal notices to members, the ability of members to upload and reorder up to 200 images to their personal section of the website, as well as the ability to create and update their own profile page with an artist’s statement and list of accomplishments.
