About

I am a fine arts photographer. I have exhibited internationally. I began my career making photographs with black and white film, and darkroom based photography. As a part of my personal vocabulary, I continue to repurpose those images. My re-use of my own ripped, burned, rephotographed photographs is unique only to my process, and produces singular pieces of art that are both sculptural and photographic. And yet, whether I am picturing a singular landscape, a portrait or creating a photo assemblage, my images are a personal view of the world. I may also be commissioned to do photographs for homes and commercial spaces, customizing my own images by size, color choices, texture, printing and display choices.
My portfolios are in the permanent collections of: the Skirball Museum, California; the Tweed Museum of Art, Minnesota; the Florida Holocaust Museum, Florida; the Hebrew Union College Museum, New York; and the Yad Vashem Museum, Israel. My photo essay book: The Earth Has Not Forgotten: A Journey to Poland is approved By the State of New Jersey, for use in the New Jersey Public School system.
I am a member of Professional Women Photographers Association, American Photographic Arts, Sierra Photo NYC, American Guild of Judaic Art and The Jewish Art Salon.
