She blends classical art influences with modern portraiture\, creating visually rich\, emotionally driven imagery for artists\, entrepreneurs\, and creatives. Her work often centers on Old Hollywood glam and editorial boudoir\, with clients ranging from indie musicians and hair stylists to local muralists and creative entrepreneurs. \nIn addition to her work as a photographer\, Mary is a creative director and photography educator with KelbyOne\, and has led photowalks at WPPI. She is a Sony Alpha Female+ Grant recipient\, a 500px World Photography Award winner\, and a Photoshop World Guru Award recipient. \nMary’s approach to photography is rooted in concept\, emotion\, and self-expression. Ori is respected internationally for over 35 years as a photographer and video producer for Ciba-Geigy and Novartis Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover\, NJ and is now the owner of New Jersey Media Center\, LLC in Berkeley Heights\, NJ. She also enjoys teaching photography and mixed media workshops each year internationally.  Nancy studied with Ansel Adams and was a teaching assistant for many years with the Ansel Adams Workshop in California. Since then\, she has taught at numerous art centers and museums throughout New Jersey.   In 1990\, she established The New Jersey Heritage Workshops for Photography and Painting\, which she holds each spring in Cape May\, New Jersey.  And in 1994 she established the NJ Photography Forum\, a group of professional and serious amateur photographers that meet regularly to discuss their work as well as exhibit within the state.  Under Nancy’s direction\, The Forum has grown to be the largest group of exhibiting fine art photographers in the state. A spin-off group has now evolved called the Digital Arts Group at the Visual Art Center of NJ in Summit. \nPhotographing in the West Coast tradition of her long-time mentor\, Ansel Adams\, Nancy expresses her own interpretation of the landscape and architecture.  Her photographs reveal a love of light\, shadow\, and form in natural and man-made settings.  They are powerful documentations of the land\, expressing its vulnerability and endurance. “As I look at my work\, I am aware of the major role that Nature plays in the way that I see and make photographs.  Nature has a way of peeling away decay to reveal something new.  This same process has become a way of seeing\, thinking\, and documenting for me.  I do not want my photographs to show decomposition but instead vulnerability\, not the ravages of time but endurance.” \nOri’s work has been widely published and exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe since 1995.  She has also been chosen several times to participate in New Jersey’s most celebrated exhibits and received numerous grants and awards including the 2004 Woman of Excellence Award in Arts and Humanities from the Union County Freeholders. \nSince 1995\, she has been featured in over 200 solo exhibits.  Some of the many exhibits include:  American Cyanamid Company\, Princeton; Merrill Lynch\, Princeton; Educational Testing Service\, Princeton; Palmer Museum\, Springfield; Westminster Art Gallery\, Bloomfield; Paper Mill Playhouse Gallery\, Millburn; Simon Gallery\, Morristown; Trenton City Museum\, Trenton; Newark Museum\, Newark; Monmouth Museum\, Monmouth; Bergen Museum of Art and Science\, Paramus; Chubb Corp.\, Warren; Arnot Art Museum\, Elmira\, NY; Salmagundi\, NYC; Hilltop Gallery\, Windham\, NY; Catskill Gallery\, Catskill\, NY;  Southern Light Gallery\, Amarillo\, TX;  Photo Gallery 2D\, Chicago Heights\, Ill.;  Sacramento Valley Photographic Art Center\, Sacramento\, CA.; Viewpoint Gallery\, Sacramento\, CA;  Liberty Science Center\, Jersey City. \nIn permanent art collections at: Novartis Corporation\, East Hanover; Ilford Photo Corp.\, England; Bergen Museum of Art and Science\, Paramus; Noyes Museum\, Oceanville; Newark Museum\, Newark; Merrill Lynch\, Princeton\, NJ; Armand Hammer Museum\, Los Angeles\, CA; American Cyanamid Company\, Princeton; and the Museum of Modern Art\, NYC.  Numerous international private collections. \nwww.nancyoriworkshops.com. \n \n \n Date & Time:November 22\, 10:45am – 12:30pm \n Location:International Center of Photography \n Instructor:Megan Green

DESCRIPTION:ICP: Educator-Led Tour\n \n \n November 22\, 10:45am – 12:30pm\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n Join us for a museum educator-led tour of the International Center of Photography (ICP) on Saturday\, November 22 at 10:45am. The tour will begin at 11am sharp and last an hour. \nThere are currently two exhibitions of women’s work at ICP – Graciela Iturbide and Naima Green – and we are here for it! \nFrom the ICP website: \nGraciela Iturbide: Serious Play\, the first ever retrospective of Iturbide’s work in New York City. This landmark exhibition\, organized in collaboration with Fundación MAPFRE and curated by Carlos Gollonet\, Chief Curator of Photography at Fundación MAPFRE\, features nearly 200 photographs spanning five decades of her groundbreaking career. \nIturbide learned photography under renowned Mexican modernist Manuel Álvarez Bravo. Throughout her career\, Iturbide traveled extensively throughout Mexico–and beyond–turning her attention to communal life\, indigenous communities\, and the interactions between nature and culture. \nNaima Green: The International Center of Photography (ICP) is proud to present Instead\, I spin fantasies\, an exhibition by Naima Green that grapples with the concept of pregnancy through constructed self-portraits\, landscapes and still-lifes—blurring the line between documentary and performance. Green probes the conventional expectations and representational tropes of motherhood\, while also creating an expanded space for considering the experience of pregnancy in America. \nCurated by Guest Curator Elisabeth Sherman\, Instead\, I spin fantasies brings together dozens of new works\, including photographs printed using the historical technologies of albumen and lumen printing processes\, along with a site-specific vinyl installation that utilizes the architecture of ICP’s third floor galleries. \nDate: Saturday\, November 22\, 2025 \nTime: 10:45am ET \nLocation: 84 Ludlow Street\, New York\, NY 10002 \nPWP Members: $20 with coupon code \nNon-PWP members: $25 \nTICKETS ARE SOLD OUT. SUMMARY:PWP Book Club: Explore A Complicated Passion: The Life and Work of Agnès Varda – Our Compelling Book of the Month!
DESCRIPTION:ICP: Educator-Led Tour\n \n \n November 22\, 10:45am – 12:30pm\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \nIrene Wolpert will lead the discussion on \nA Complicated Passion: The Life and Work of Agnes Varda\n\nBy Carrie Rickey\n\nA Time Must-Read Book of 2024. The first major biography of the French filmmaker hailed by Martin Scorsese as “one of the Gods of cinema.” In this lively biography\, former Philadelphia Inquirer film critic Carrie Rickey explores the “complicated passions” that informed Varda’s charmed life and indelible work. Rickey traces Varda’s three remarkable careers―as still photographer\, as filmmaker\, and as installation artist. She explains how Varda was a pioneer in blurring the lines between documentary and fiction\, using the latest digital technology and carving a path for women in the movie industry. She demonstrates how Varda was years ahead of her time in addressing sexism\, abortion\, labor exploitation\, immigrant rights\, and race relations with candor and incisiveness. She makes clear Varda’s impact on contemporary figures like Ava DuVernay\, Greta Gerwig\, Barry Jenkins\, the Safdie brothers\, and Martin Scorsese. And she delves into Varda’s incredibly rich social life with figures such as Harrison Ford\, Jean-Luc Godard\, Jim Morrison\, Susan Sontag\, and Andy Warhol\, and her nearly forty-year marriage to the celebrated director Jacques Demy. \n\nAmazon Link – Hardcover and Barnes & Noble – Hardcover \nIt is also available for Kindle\, Audible Audiobook \n288 pages. Published by W. W. Norton & Company (August 12\, 2024). \n\nIncludes 8 pages of illustrations. \nYou must register to be a part of the discussion.\nRSVP Below!\n\n \n \n Date & Time:November 22\, 10:45am – 12:30pm \n Location:International Center of Photography \n Instructor:Megan Green \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n \n \n\n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Learn about our memberships \n \n Learn\, grow\, network\, collaborate and exhibit your photography with other women photographers around the world.
