Past Workshops - Travel & Outdoor Photography with a Digital Camera

Sunday, April 10, 2005. 10 am - 4:30 pm
Taught by Rick Sammon.

This full day workshop will cover the challenges and different nuisances of shooting travel and outdoor images with a digital camera. The morning will be spent with lectures and examples of photographs shot with a digital camera. The afternoon session will be a review and critique of digital images brought in by the class. Anytime digital photography is discussed; there are issues with Photoshop and printing. However this workshop is about the creative problem solving while photographing with a digital camera.

Rick Sammon, a New York State based photographer, has been writing travel photography features for the Associated Press, published some 23 books and interactive CD’s and teaches workshops for the Maine Workshops plus other groups and schools. Some books and CD's will be available at the workshop.
