Outreach PWP

SUMMARY

In 2007 an outreach board position was created to provide governance and guidance over PWP’s outreach committees and fulfill PWP’s responsibilities as a not-for-profit organization.

The charter of these outreach committees is to provide community service for the mentoring, development, and recognition of young, emerging female student photographers.

The committees and their chairs include:

• Community Service: Susan Heske and Andy Mars
• Student Awards Program: Patricia Gilman
• Mentoring: is still in the process of formation

In order for each of these committees to meet their objectives, PWP is in need of volunteers to be part of their exciting activities. This is an excellent volunteer opportunity and rewarding experience for PWP members to build their professional accomplishments by contributing to the growth and development of others.
