Summary

In 2007 an Outreach board position was created to provide governance and guidance over PWP ’s Outreach Committees and to fulfill PWP’s responsibilities as a not-for-profit organization.

The charter of these outreach committees is to provide community service for the mentoring, development, and recognition of young, emerging female student photographers. They are also charged with creating meaningful partnerships, on a yearly basis, with exceptional not-for-profit organizations, which will benefit from volunteer photography for use on their websites, public filings and archives.

In order for each of these committees to meet their objectives, PWP needs volunteers To participate in their exciting activities. This is an excellent volunteer opportunity, and a rewarding experience for PWP members to enhance their professional accomplishments while contributing to the growth and development of others.
