A self taught photographer, I travel to remote parts of the world seeking out unusual images of people, still life, landscape and architecture. I use color to generate both bright eye catching images and virtually monochromatic displays. Electric yellow and red banners on a Buddhist Monastery clearly represent my work, so does an early morning scene of carts on a western Chinese road, a study in earth tones. In addition I work in image transfer to create a completely different, much softer, visual effect. Digital manipulation has added a new dimension of tinted black and white images as well as fanciful color modifications.
