Sara Cedar Miller, Landscape-nature photographer and historian, has been the photographer for the Central Park Conservancy since 1984, their historian since 1989 and Director of Park Information since 2005. Her photographs of Central Park have been published in books and periodicals around the world. She appears on radio and television as a Park spokesperson, conducts specialized tours and lectures. She received a M. A. in art history from Hunter College in 1973 and an M.F.A. in photography from Pratt Institute in 1983. Her book Central Park, An American Masterpiece (Harry N. Abrams, Inc., 2003) has received critical acclaim around the world.
