Amanda Jones, pet photographer, began her photography career in 1992 after graduating with a degree in Cinema & Photography from Ithaca College with Ruby, a yellow Labrador Retriever puppy given to her by a friend. Ruby was Amanda’s first model and inspiration for pursing a career working with dogs and creating a unique marketing strategy. In The New York Times, November 13th, article entitled “Smile and Say Bone,” Ms. Jones describes the handling of her subjects and their owners.

Amanda’s third book on dogs, Dachshunds Short and Long, will be available at the meeting.
