Professional Women Photographers (PWP) is proud to present Glimpses of Our World, a member-only exhibition juried by Magdalena Solé.
This exhibition asks members to explore subjects that are close to their hearts and themes that particularly excite them as photographers.
Exhibition juror, Magdalena Solé, is known for her sensitive expressions of culture through distinctive color artistry. Her work touches on the themes of displacement and human suffering, societies living on the margins and places forgotten or shunned by the mainstream. Her visual narratives are often inspired by poetry.
Glimpses of Our World will be on show at the Salmagundi Art Club, 47 5th Ave, New York, NY 10003 from February 4th through 16th, 2019. The opening reception will be held on Thursday February 7th, 6-8 PM. Gallery Hours are 1-6pm (M-F), 1-5 (S-S).
